📣Attention Parents of Upcoming Sherman High School 9th Grade Students 📣 Before the end of the school year, Mr. Hunt and Mrs. Castle met with our 8th-grade students to discuss opportunities available to them as they transition to Sherman High School. Students who expressed interest in taking Honors classes were provided with informational packets and enrollment materials. In addition, 9th graders have the opportunity to participate in the Adventure Tourism Program through BCTC, taught by Bobbie Miller. We encourage families to discuss these options with their students to help them make informed decisions about their high school coursework and future goals. If you have questions about Honors classes, please contact Sherman High School. For questions about the Adventure Tourism Program, please contact Boone Career and Technical Center or Bobby Miller.

Please note that the start time for Sherman Junior High School Awards Day tomorrow has been changed from 9:00 AM to 8:30 AM.

This adjustment will help accommodate students and parents being able to attend Awards Day and travel to support the Sherman High School girls softball team in the second round of the state softball tournament tomorrow afternoon.

This morning's 8th grade trip to tour the BCTC has been rescheduled for this afternoon. Students will eat lunch early, leave at 12:30, and return around 2:30. Thank you!

Good evening! Mid-term progress reports for the 4th nine weeks were sent home today. Students returning on Monday with a parent signature indicating the report was reviewed, will receive an anchor remover. Additionally some 6th grade students received notification of incomplete immunizations required for the 7th grade, along with a consent form to receive the immunization at an upcoming school-based clinic. If you wish for your child to receive the required immunizations at the upcoming clinic, to be held here at school, please sign and return the consent form on Monday. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the school!
