Good evening parents and guardians. We would like to update you with a little information of what is happening the month of December at MMS. Students will be taking their ELA and math benchmark assessments on December 2, 2025 and December 3, 2025. Also, our monthly PBIS reward is a hot cocoa bar where students will be able to drink hot cocoa with custom toppings and socialize which is scheduled for December 17th . The requirements for this reward include no in-school suspension, no out of school suspension, no more than two detention halls assigned, no F's in any of their classes, and no unexcused absences. Eligibility for this event begins December 2, 2025. Please make sure you have access to Schoology to access your child's grade as it is a great tool to check grades and communicate with your child's teachers. Thank you and have a wonderful evening.

Today your child will come home with a new folder called a communication folder. We plan to use this folder as a method of communication throughout the year. Today your child will be bringing home their report card, an attendance report, a letter with Schoology directions, and a brochure from Mr. Sexton, superintendent of Boone County Schools. Please make sure this folder comes back to school each day it is taken home. We hope this provides another layer of needed communication. Also, feel free to use it to write notes to teachers as needed.
