Softball Pep Bus Information Pending student interest, we will offer a pep bus for the softball state tournament on Wednesday (5/27). The first game is scheduled for approximately 3 PM. Based on the result of that game, we may play another game at approximately 8:30 PM. If the 8:30 game occurs, the pep bus will stay for that game. Students riding the bus will need to bring $14 ($7 per game). The school will provide a bagged meal between games. Students wishing to ride the bus should bring their money and sign up with Mr. Stewart tomorrow (5/26).

Awards Day will be tomorrow (5/26) at 12:30.

Good luck to our track and field athletes as they complete in the WVSSAC Track and Field State Championship today and tomorrow!

Tickets for today's regional baseball game are $6 for students and $8 for adults. WVSSAC C&I cards are accepted for entry.

This is a reminder that 11th grade students will take the SAT School Day test tomorrow (April 21). This is the end of year test for students in West Virginia. Students should arrive on time with their Chromebook and charger. Roll Tide!

11th grade students will complete the SAT Digital Readiness Check on Thursday (April 16). This is a brief activity to make sure their Chromebooks are ready for next week's test. Students should arrive with their Chromebooks and charger!

This is a reminder that senior cap and gown photos are scheduled for March 25, 2026.

The All Area Band concert at Chapmanville High School has been moved to 4:30 due to the weather. Students are expected to return to Sherman High at 6 PM. If you have questions, please reach out to Mr. Cummings.

11th grade students will take the SAT School Day on April 21, 2026.

Monday (02/16/26) will be a two-hour early dismissal for students.

We want to inform families that the school received an automated, recorded threat on our voicemail system from over the weekend. This was a swatting call received by multiple other schools in the Kanawha Valley area. Law enforcement officers are investigating but are not able to substantiate a threat. We will continue to maintain a secure stance and monitor visitors throughout the day. Please know that we are always committed to ensuring the safety of our students and staff.

The winter formal, originally scheduled for 01/31, will be rescheduled. A new date will be announced once it has been finalized.

Parent/Teacher conferences at Sherman High School are scheduled from 4 PM - 6 PM on January 12, 2026. Parents/guardians are invited to meet with teachers during this timeframe.

This is a message regarding the Sherman High ski club. Tomorrow, January 4, is the deadline to register and pay. The first trip is Monday, January 5. Registration information is available on the Tide Events Facebook page. If you have questions, contact Mr. Broome via Schoology.

Today (12/8) is the first NTID. Students should complete Snow Packet Day 1. Per county policy, these assignments will be graded. If you need assistance, reach out to your teacher via Schoology, email, or phone (call the school).
