Summer band practice is cancelled today (8/4).
Congratulations to our AP students and Mrs. Halstead for achieving a 77% qualifying (passing) rate on the AP Seminar exam! This marks the first time in more than a decade that an AP course has been taught in person at Sherman High, making this accomplishment even more meaningful. Roll Tide!
Summer School Information
Mrs. Castle will be available tomorrow (5/29) and Monday (6/1) from 7 AM - 3 PM to assist students with summer school applications. This is an opportunity for students to recover credits to ensure timely graduation!
Softball Pep Bus - Round 2 (5/28)
We will offer another pep bus for the softball games on 5/28 based on student interest.
The first game is scheduled to begin around 2 PM. The pep bus will leave around 1.
If we play an evening game, the pep bus will likely stay for that game as well.
The cost of tickets will be covered by donations. A bagged lunch will be provided. Concessions are available, so students may want to bring money.
Students wishing to ride the bus should bring a permission note and sign up with Mr. Stewart during breakfast in the morning.
Softball Pep Bus Reminder
Students wishing to ride the pep bus tomorrow (5/27) must sign up with Mr. Stewart in the morning! Bring a note with permission to ride. Just a reminder, if the team plays an evening game (approximately 8:30 PM), the pep bus will stay for that game.
Also, thanks to generous donations, the cost of tickets will be covered for students on the pep bus.
Softball Pep Bus Information Pending student interest, we will offer a pep bus for the softball state tournament on Wednesday (5/27). The first game is scheduled for approximately 3 PM. Based on the result of that game, we may play another game at approximately 8:30 PM. If the 8:30 game occurs, the pep bus will stay for that game. Students riding the bus will need to bring $14 ($7 per game). The school will provide a bagged meal between games. Students wishing to ride the bus should bring their money and sign up with Mr. Stewart tomorrow (5/26).
Awards Day will be tomorrow (5/26) at 12:30.

If you have not turned in your Chromebook, bring it to Senior Awards Day tomorrow (5/20).
Tickets for today's regional baseball game are $6 for students and $8 for adults. WVSSAC C&I cards are accepted for entry.
