11th grade students will take the SAT School Day on April 21, 2026.
Monday (02/16/26) will be a two-hour early dismissal for students.
We want to inform families that the school received an automated, recorded threat on our voicemail system from over the weekend. This was a swatting call received by multiple other schools in the Kanawha Valley area. Law enforcement officers are investigating but are not able to substantiate a threat. We will continue to maintain a secure stance and monitor visitors throughout the day. Please know that we are always committed to ensuring the safety of our students and staff.
The winter formal, originally scheduled for 01/31, will be rescheduled. A new date will be announced once it has been finalized.
Parent/Teacher conferences at Sherman High School are scheduled from 4 PM - 6 PM on January 12, 2026. Parents/guardians are invited to meet with teachers during this timeframe.

You can order anytime right up to graduation, but you will fall into the late order program and lose the in-school group pricing if you order after the deadline.

Lifetouch will be at the school on November 4 for senior drape photos and underclassmen retakes. The photographer will be at the school in the morning and afternoon to accommodate vocational students.
