The senior walk at Van Elementary will be tomorrow at 1 pm
Due to Van elementary being remote tomorrow, we will postpone the elementary school walk until Friday. I will post and announce the time when we have that information
At this point, I feel like the little boy who cried wolf. However, the most recent update the Boone County Schools Transportation Director has received from CSX is Thursday, May 21, the Chap Road crossing will be completely inaccessible from 6:00 am until they complete the work, which could be as late as 6:00 pm. There will be no gravel to cross, and no passage whatsoever. Therefore, we will need to cancel Craig and Liddia's normal routes for Thursday, all day. For anyone hoping to attend the awards day for seniors or underclassmen, we are so sorry for the confusion and inconvenience.
Reminder to all Seniors.....Chromebooks and your chargers are due back at the school today.
Parents, good news! CSX has just announced that they are providing a temporary gravel crossing for Chap Road so we will be able to run buses on a normal schedule after all! There will be one lane open for passage. Thanks for your patience and flexibility.
On Thursday, May 21, Craig and Liddia's buses will not run for the regular morning or afternoon runs. This is due to the closure of the railroad crossing at Chap Road from 6 am to 6 pm. Please note we do have Senior Awards Day that morning at 8:30, the senior walk at the elementary school at 11:15, and the underclassmen awards day at 12:00. Please make sure to plan travel accordingly for this closure. Thank you
