Due to tomorrow's weather forecast, the Waterways event is cancelled. Mrs. Hatfield and Mrs. Greene will make a decision tomorrow morning regarding Field Day. Watch for an update by 8:30 a.m.
Due to the weather, field day events have been moved indoors at Madison Elementary. There will be no room for parents to attend.
Students going on the 5th grade trip must be at Madison Elementary between 6:00-6:15 a.m. tomorrow. Breakfast will be available. The bus will pull out promptly at 6:30a.m. Great Wolf Lodge is a cashless facility, so parents attending will need to have a credit or debit card. If a student is traveling without a parent and is taking spending money, it must be on a prepaid Visa. Per state and county policy, students may not possess cell phones during school trips.
Tomorrow will be the last day for popsicles sales. Also, tomorrow will be Glow Bowling in PE so be sure to wear neon or bright colors if you have them!
Madison Elementary staff is looking forward to seeing all of our families tomorrow during the "Night at the Museum" event from 5:00-6:30.
Students and staff are encouraged to wear purple on Wednesday 4/22/26 to show support for our military.

Starting tomorrow through April 24th, popsicles will be on sale during recess for $1.00.
Due to an accident on Route 85, the power will be shut off at Madison Elem. and school will be dismissed. Buses will leave here at 9:45 a.m.
Extended Day has been cancelled. All students are headed home on their regular buses.
An invite and RSVP are coming home today for our Title I "Night at the Museum" -Literacy NIght which will be April 21, 2026. RSVP's must be turned in by this Friday 3/20/2026.
A letter of intent was sent home concerning the 5th grade trip. All forms must be returned tomorrow so that we can determine if enough students are planning to attend to make the trip possible. The due date for payment 1 has been extended to March 18. All students must ride the bus to Great Wolf Lodge, and pay $100 in order to participate with the school. Students will not be permitted to meet the group in Ohio. If your child needs financial assistance, please call Mrs. Pritt at the school.
Reminder: Extended Day starts today. Mrs. Cook has not received many forms back. If you want your child to attend but did not return your form, call the school today to let Ms. Heather know. Thank you!
This is a reminder that class pictures will be taken tomorrow. Pictures are $13.00 each and can be purchased online at Strawbridge.net with order code FM498830, or by returning the Strawbridge envelope with money enclosed.
If students are taking a packed lunch on tomorrow's field trip, it must be in a disposable bag with their name on it. No lunch boxes
All students that are car riders must be at school by 8:15 a.m. tomorrow so that we can leave for the Frozen trip. This will create a bit of congestion, so please get into the drop off line with buses and be patient.
Tomorrow is the final day to turn in permission slips and money for the Frozen field trip. Bus rosters will be finalized at 10:00 a.m. and no permission slips will be accepted beyond that. Students without permission slips will remain at school with a staff member on Thursday.
Due to having no water, there will be no school today at Madison Elementary.
Reminder: There is no school for students on Monday 1/12/26, and Parent/Teacher conferences will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Reminder that Santa's Workshop starts next week. Students will only have 1 day to shop:
Monday- Pre-k, K, and 1st will shop
Tuesday- 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th will shop
Wednesday- Make up for absences
Please make sure students bring money on the correct day, so they do not miss out.
Reminder: Care Package items that will be mailed to troops overseas are due by Dec. 5.
