The Boone County Schools Finance Department is committed to ensuring the responsible, transparent, and effective management of all financial resources in accordance with the laws and policies of the State of West Virginia and the West Virginia Board of Education.
Our purpose is to safeguard public funds while supporting the educational mission of the district. Through accurate accounting, prudent budgeting, and sound financial planning, we strive to provide the fiscal foundation necessary for high-quality instruction, safe facilities, and equitable opportunities for all students.

The Finance Office oversees budgeting, accounting, purchasing, payroll, and financial reporting functions. We work closely with schools, departments, and the West Virginia Department of Education to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while maintaining efficiency and fiscal integrity.
